OMNI Stand Alone Purification System

A simple and compact purification design allowing for placement underneath virtually any glovebox.

The OMNI Inert Atmosphere Gas Purification System has been designed to provide full functionality in a compact size, with no sacrifice in performance. The OMNI is exceptionally simple to set up, operate, and maintain. As with all Vacuum Atmospheres Company systems, the ability to reach and maintain < 1 ppm levels of oxygen and moisture is a standard feature.

The touchscreen operator interface allows easy monitoring and control of glovebox pressure, glovebox purge, circulation blower, and purifier regeneration.

The optional oxygen analyzer and display uses an electrolytic fuel cell to measure glovebox oxygen to < 1 ppm . The optional trace moisture analyzer display is supplied with an aluminum oxide probe for measurement of moisture levels down to < 1 ppm.

Technical Data

23″ (w) X 22″ (d) X 33″ (h)

Installation: The small size will enable easy installation under most gloveboxes or antechambers.

Purification Capacity: 20 liters of O2 and 1.3 Kg of H2O absorption capacity (catalyst mfg. specs.)

System has an automatic timed regeneration cycle with user selectable special solvent regeneration cycle. Requires 3-5% hydrogen mixture gas (in nitrogen or argon).

Pressure control: Within a range of +/- 5” water column. The user may program both the high and low pressure control points. The glovebox pressure and pressure control points are displayed on the operator interface panel. The system includes a footswitch for manual pressure control.

Over/under Pressure Limit: Will sound built-in alarm and shutdown electrical power to all valves if glovebox exceeds programmed over/under pressure limits.

Vacuum Pump: A vacuum pump is required for operation and can be purchased as an option with each system.

Leak Certification: No detectable leaks with a helium mass spectrometer (sensitivity of 3 x 10-6 std cc/sec).

Power: 110 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 10 amps; 220 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 10 amps; 220 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 5 amps; 10′ power cord with NEMA 5-15 plug (110 VAC) or NEMA L6-15 plug (220 VAC).
