The OMNI-Lab Glovebox provides universities and commercial firms a cost-effective solution with full inert atmosphere performance and a user friendly control system.

The manual circulation, antechamber, and purge valves provide easy one hand reliable operation.

Since the Purifier is located on the top of the box, this allows the OMNI-Lab Glovebox to be the ideal platform for custom integrations of cold wells, spin coaters, special heating wells and other equipment installed on the glovebox floor required for your research.

Regenerable Purification Technology

Every OMNI-Lab Glovebox System comes with a single regenerable purification system installed as standard.

With a regenerable purifier, when the purifier becomes saturated with oxygen and/or moisture it may be regenerated to remove the oxygen and moisture using an automatic regeneration sequence. At the completion of the regeneration sequence, the purifier may be put online again to remove oxygen and moisture from the glovebox atmosphere.

As with all VAC inert gas purification systems, the OMNI-Lab will achieve

< 1 ppm oxygen and moisture equilibrium.

Purification Capacity: Per purifier, 20 liters of O2 and 1.3 kg of H2O absorption capacity (per mfg. specs).

Regeneration: System has a completely automatic regeneration cycle.

The 4.0” touch screen LCD displays glovebox pressure, blower speed, analyzer levels and system status. The operator may note antechamber operation and regeneration status at a glance. An alarm panel shows any out of tolerance condition for operator acknowledgement or correction. The system is available with optional VAC oxygen and/or moisture analyzer assemblies.

Leak Certification: Helium leak check to 1 X 10-6 cc/sec.

Safety Certification: Conforms and certified to UL Std 61010-1 and CSA Std C22.2 NO 1010.1, certified for CE conformity

Power: 110 or 220 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz, 15 amps.

The Omni system is designed with Industrial PLC that monitors and controls the complete system. The system utilizes an easy to use menu driven interface controlled via an operator touch screen graphical display.

It includes built-in programmed control of purifier regeneration, glovebox pressure and system diagnostics.

Purifier Circulation Valves: Manual Valves

Antechamber Control: Manual ball valves for evacuation and refill.

Pressure Control: The touchscreen displays the pressure in a horizontal bar graphic with the operating pressure limits displayed below. The PRESSURE CONTROL touch key brings up another screen that allows the user to set the high and low pressure limits for the glovebox. A foot switch for adjusting pressure within the preset limits while in the gloves is also included as standard.

Over Pressure Limit: The pressure safety limits are set at ±5” water column. If the glovebox pressure for some reason exceeds one of these limits, all valves are inactivated, the vacuum pump is shut down and an alarm sounds.

Flanged out design for easy expansion to dual length systems. Full view 1⁄4” LEXAN front panels, with aluminum glove ports. One (1) dual electrical junction box inside of glovebox. Customer specified interfaces may be located on the end panel or custom ordered in the back of the glovebox.

The VAC CS-40+ is a refrigeration system designed to provide 20.9L of -35°C refrigerated storage space inside an inert atmosphere glovebox.

Solvent Purification

Our patented recirculation loop purifies solvents to a nearly moisture free condition, with many purification options available.


Two versions available: a water jacketed oven for operation to 600° C and an insulation blanketed oven for operation to 200° C.

Glovebox cooling

The VAC Dri-Kool systems are air-cooled or water-cooled mechanical refrigeration systems designed for cooling inert gas glovebox atmospheres.


The VAC MD-50 Digital Microscope is built for up close work from a distance.

Solvent Trap

VAC’s Solvent Trap is designed to remove organic solvent vapors from the glovebox atmosphere.
